Order Process


To allow adequate proofing time and avoid rush fees, please place your order 4-6 weeks in advance for flat printed items and 6-8 weeks for foil-stamped or  letterpress items. We can accommodate quicker orders, please contact us if you’re working on a tight timeline!


Items can be ordered on our website using our online order forms to select your customization options. Pricing will update at the bottom of the product page based on your selected options. You may add design notes if there’s anything special you’d like to see, or considerations you’d like the designer to know when setting up your e-proof. Select the quantity you need and add the items to your shopping cart. Proceed to checkout where you can select your shipping and processing speed.

Our online order forms take the place of a design consultation by simply gathering the preliminary information that we need from you to generate your e-proof. Please fill them out to the best of your ability and leave any notes or design requests to be reviewed by the designer before getting started on your proof. You can request changes after you’ve seen your proof, even if you change your mind on something that effects price. You’re not locked into your order form selections until after you give print approval.


Upon receiving your order, we’ll review your selections and address any special requests or notes you’ve left for the designer. We’ll contact you for clarification if necessary, otherwise we’ll get started on your e-proof and email it to you within 1-3 business days. Upon receiving your e-proof, take time to carefully review all details, proof-reading carefully for errors, and confirming that all color choices and design placement is exactly how you’d like it. We will print exactly what is shown on your e-proof. You can submit any changes you’d like to see at the bottom of the e-proof form and we’ll send you an updated version.


If you select options on the order form which effect price, and then later change your mind after seeing your e-proof, we will refund or invoice you for the difference at the time of print approval. At this time, you may also request an adjustment to the total quantity as long as it still meets our minimum order requirement. Please note: custom design elements like illustrated maps cannot be refunded even if you choose not to include it on the final printed piece. Once a map has been illustrated, we cannot un-illustrate it.


When your e-proof looks perfect, approve it for print by selecting the “Approve for Print” option at the bottom of the e-proof form. Once you sign the e-proof, acknowledging that you have no further changes and that your items are ready for print, we’ll send your order to print and production right away.


Production times vary depending on the size of your order and the styles included. Most flat-printed orders are shipped out to you within 2 weeks of print approval. For letterpress items, printing and production time can be up to 4 weeks. Please contact us before ordering if you need your order quicker to discuss rush options. Customized stationery is a big purchase. We want you to feel confident in your purchase and allow you to make changes to your order prior to printing, so you’re 100% happy with the final product. However, since we begin design work on your e-proof as soon as your order is placed, cancelled orders will be refunded according to the following policies:

  • Orders that are cancelled in the proofing phase prior to print approval (even if you have not received your e-proof yet) will be refunded at 50% of the order total (not including shipping).
  • Orders that have completed the proofing phase and have been approved for print are not eligible for cancellation. Your order goes into production immediately, all materials have been ordered at this point and we cannot offer a refund in any amount.
